What are your favorite (TV) episodes of the Star Trek shows?

Mine are (in no particular order):
The Drumhead
Inner Light
Duet - That's the DS9 episode where a Cardssian turns himself in as a war criminal, but he's not who he claims to be.
The one where Riker participates in the officer exchange program and is assigned to a Klingon ship
The one where Kes is taken over by a telepathic alien, and she kicks him out.
The one where Troi is transformed into a Romulan and is sent on a spy mission.

I'm sure if I sat down with a list of shows, I'd remember a few more.

The Voyager ep where the doctor sings the La Donna E Mobile spoof.

The ep of TNG where Picard gets capture by the Cardassians, and the one where he gets Borged.

The ep of DS9 where they go back to Trouble With Tribbles, and the one pre Worf/Jadzia wedding.

The TOS where they all land on that planet where everyone is healthy, Spock gets emotions... you know? The one with the emotion spored plants.

The Voyager ep called "Tuvix".

Christ, there's so many. :>

My favorites are all in the original series.

TNG:

Picard living out his whole life in 25 minutes, on that other planet (my absolute favorite).

Picard falling in love with the metamorph.

Picard being down on to that planet with the alien captain of another ship and trying to communicate with him, but the alien ends up dying.

The one where Q introduces them to the Borg.

The one where the ship is in a time loop and they keep blowing up over and over.

The one where The Enterprise C comes through a time rift and they end up sending it back with Tasha Yar aboard.

All of the ones with Q, especially the one where he turns human, the one where he gives Picard a second chance at life, and the series finale.

The one where Ensign Rho and Jordi are out of phase with the rest of the crew.

The one where the crew are being experimented on by aliens in subspace (which begins with Data's poetry reading).

The one with Data's dreaming, where Diana is a birthday cake.

Probably two-thirds of all the episodes of TNG are my favorites. The entire last season, especially, was spectacular.

Oh, and the one where Picard is part of the crew of bandits looking for the ancient weapon.

That one's on right now :)

Oooh, and don't forget the one where the Enterprise is badly damaged and Picard leads the three kids around.

I don't think I saw the La Donna E Mobile one.

I almost mentioned that one where Picard was captured because I only like those parts dealing with the Cardassians and the torture.

I just remembered the DS9/Tribble one this morning.

I had forgotten about Tuvix. I loved how the two very different characters merged so well.

I think it was the wedding one, where the old Klingon (I forget the names) brings his wife on board, and she is a total bitch to him. She walks off and he says, "isn't she magnificent?"

I love the ones where people have to act differently than they really are, like the Deanna/Romulan one.

The first one you mentioned is "Inner Light"

I definitely should have listed "Yesterday's Enterprise" (the one with the C)

The one where Picard was sequestered with the alien was good, except the mechanics of the language bugged the hell out of me.

That TOS one with the emotion plants was the pilot, first episode, no-Kirk... wasn't it?

Classic Trek

I never was a big fan of the original series, and I haven't seen many episodes, but "City on the Edge of Forever" seemed pretty good.

Which ones?

I don't know the episode names, and I have a tough time picking my favorite. The most suspenseful one, I think, was the one with that big cone shaped thing that was sucking the ship in. The gangster one was hilarious. The one with Miri was really good. I recited a chant from that once to you and you had *no* idea what I was saying. *L*

No... the pilot was called "The Cage" and dealt with the ship landing on a planet with beings who could make you think you were seeing things that wreen't there.

Telos, I think was the planets name.

Heehee, yeah. That was General Martok I think. :>
