We got about eight inches of fluffy yesterday. Last night I shoveled the front walk and about a car length of driveway, which was handy so we could back the car out of the garage to get the trash bin out. We got another inch overnight so I reshoveled all of that. Later in the evening I did the middle of the driveway. Then, just now, I did the end. That was a lot of work. It has gotten cold this evening, so the slushy pile from the plow was starting to freeze. And they left it a couple of feet from the curb, which makes for a lot of extra work in front of the mailbox. And I'm using the plastic shovel that doesn't work as well. There's a layer of snow on the concrete that this shovel can't scrape off. I'm hoping that if I use it often enough it will become accustomed to my ways, and learn how to handle this. What I mean is that the metal bits will wear in the angle that I use it. *fingers crossed*
