2016: 20
2017: 11
2018: 26
2019: 25
2020: 14
2021: 16
2022: 19
That's an average of 18.4 books per year. I barely beat average this year. I include all books in this total, including ones without a lot of text. Like, say a Dr. Seuss book. Plus, I read lot of art books which are mostly images. This year I had a few lengthy graphic novels, like Maus. However, reviewing this year's list, I see more lengthy books than I expected, so that was nice. I read three of my old science fiction novels in December when I was sick. Unfortunately, I'd kinda taken the summer off from reading, otherwise I should have had more.
