long weekend
Jul. 4th, 2022 10:32 pmSaturday I started with yard work. Then we went to the crazy condo. It was fun to see, and it was kinda nice to sit with friends for a while. I think that was mainly because of the weather. That evening was fireworks in town, but we declined to go. I didn't really feel like going out.
Funny, I don't remember much about Sunday, but I'm sure there was yard work involved. Oh, I trimmed the pine trees. That took a couple of hours. *shrug* We went for a walk in town in the evening. The town was dead. Everyone was home getting ready for the Fourth?
Today involved yard work. I dug up a small part of the lawn and planted grass seed. Then we went to some friends. He called yesterday and said his son was in town, and his other kids we be there too, and did we want to join them for a cookout? I had this lawn project planned, so I said we'd come over either when I was done or when the rain started. That happened about the same time. So we hung out there for about an hour and a half.
