vaccine reaction

I got my second shingles shot yesterday. I had completely forgotten that I should expect a bad reaction to it. Good thing I didn't have any plans for the evening or today. My arm started hurting a few hours later, and by the late evening, I was feeling cold and crappy. I went to the couch to read at 11:00, but I couldn't. I shivered under blankets for three hours, then went to bed. It was a bit of a struggle to stay upright long enough to get ready for bed. I woke up in the morning throwing blankets off, because I was so hot.

Today I just feel kinda crappy. A little headachey and weak.

electric car

I've been wanting an electric car for a while. I decided last year that it was time. Ford came out with an electric Mustang, and it seemed like my best option. Most of the other electrics don't have enough range, and the ones that do seem to be overpriced. The only problem with the Mustang Mach-E is that it's a first-year release. That's always a risk, since they haven't had a chance to work the bugs out. So I went to my Ford dealer and asked if he could get me a test drive. He couldn't. I really wanted to get rid of my old Mustang before winter, but I didn't want to buy the new one without trying it on.

So now I'll be waiting until the next model year comes out. And guess what? With the war, gas prices have shot through the roof, and I assume there will be a run on fuel efficient cars and prices will likely go up. I looked up the Mach-E just now, and it does indeed say they are scarce. This one is not a cheap vehicle, and is right at the upper limit of my ability to afford it. I had my car in for an oil change last weekend, and they pointed out that the tires need replacing. So there's a thousand dollars that I'll have to put into a car that I'm going to get rid of. I should have just ordered the Mach-E. How bad could it be? Besides, I don't see any other good options. If I can't afford this car, I will probably go back to a gas-powered Mustang.
