What I did on my summer vacation, day 9
Jul. 28th, 2020 11:48 pmEarly afternoon I went to the bank to take care of a CD, but the doors were locked. Came home to learn that lobby services are open only by appointment. And that I could take care of my business on the phone. Then I took care of some bills.
After that, I worked in the shed. I moved a light fixture, which turned out to be fairly easy. Then I put some brackets on the wall to hold some lumber that I'd been stepping over for the last couple of years.
I ended up cleaning and reorganizing most of the shed, since I had to move a lot of stuff to get those two things done. It actually looks worse now. I had an unused kitchen cabinet, so I put it to use. It's got a piece of plywood for a top, and then I put a wooden shelf above it. But now the things that used to be where it is now are a little less well-organized. Everything used to be arranged along the wall. I need to build some shelves. And get rid of some toxic waste.
