Jae's funeral was today. I didn't actually speak to the family much. But all the old gang was there - the group of guys centered around the guys I went to high school with. There used to be ten of us. One moved on many years ago. The rest are still close by, except for the one who lives in Minneapolis. So all nine of us were there. We went out for drinks afterward, so that was fun.

EDIT: I checked Jae's Facebook. The last thing she posted was a link to an article wit the headline: According to a study, the more you hang out with your mom, the longer she'll live.
