the weekend

Friday night we had our exhibit opening at the ArtBar. I had four pieces in the show. I mentioned it here. We were there a long time. It was fun, though. Talked to a lot of our fellow members, including one that I hadn't gotten to know yet, and I met a new member. She won the viewer's choice award, and was "over the moon."

My image of the door of the abandoned building, "Anarchy," was well liked. I get several nice comments about it. And I saw a woman looking at it, who said "wow," to herself. :-)

Saturday evening was Bruce's and Jason's wedding. That was nice. He is almost 60, and has finally found love. We're so happy for him. And Jason is a super-nice guy. I'm looking forward to getting to know him.

Other than that, I did a lot of yard work. The weather was great - sunny all weekend.
