not in the show

My eyeball photo didn't get into the exhibition. 160 entries, 39 chosen. I wasn't sure whether I'd get into this one, so I didn't expect to be upset when I didn't. But it took me a while to get over it.

And then tonight, I saw all the entries that were accepted. Now I'm annoyed. There are a few entries that are just plain boring. I can't imagine why they were accepted. Some are just snapshots. But I need to get over that. Those images are jarring, but overall there are more good images than there are bad and mediocre images.

Cyn had three images accepted. There were only four artists who got three images in, one of whom had four!
