nasty weather

It was just nasty today. It started out mid thirties, windy and heavy mist. A wind-driven wall of water. Then it turned cold - freezing rain then a little bit of snow. The wind was crazy all day. Gusts whipping the trees around, and then stopping momentarily before changing direction. Precipitation stopped in late afternoon then started up again.

North of us is getting hit hard. North Central Wisconsin - Stevens Point, Wausau, Green Bay - are expected to get over a foot and a half of snow. My sister is in Point for "the world's largest trivia contest." I hope she can get home OK tomorrow.
