Last Saturday I drove 5-1/2 hours to the far side of Indiana for a family reunion. The next day I came home.
Monday night after work I mowed the lawn. Tuesday night I had my dad and a friend over for whisky.
Wednesday I drove to Chicago and spent the afternoon with ravengirl. Then I went to see King Crimson with marswalker. I got home at 1 am and went straight to bed.
Thursday I was up at 6:30 to meet my friend at the hardware store, so he could move the rented log splitter. And then my nephew and I spent all day splitting. Cindy helped me finish in the evening. Friday I spent a good chunk of the day stacking it, and got halfway done.
Saturday was a leisurely day. I did some gardening, then we drove out to give my stepmom her birthday present - a lilac bush. ETA: the fireworks, of course.
Today I tried to stack more wood in between rain showers. Then gaming in the evening.
I've got Monday and Tuesday off work. I expect to finish stacking the firewood and clean up that part of the yard. Aside from that, I don't have any plans for the next couple of weeks.
