no party for you!

We had planned to go to some friends' house in the evening, for Dennis's birthday and new year's eve party. Other friends were having a party too, but theirs was all day, so we figured we go there in the afternoon. But Dennis saw I was sick and he had other work he wanted to get done, so he canceled. So we just missed the other party. That person just posted on Facebook, "So, yeah, pretty much nobody is here." All her friends are complaining of other plans, having to work, or being sick. Bummer.

It's ten o'clock. We finished off a couple of episodes of Doctor Who a little while ago, and Cindy just went to bed. I'm trying to get my computer to see my scanner again.

Some update just happened to my computer yesterday. Now I get the log-in screen whenever it comes out of hibernation. And some other things changed. Our slide scanner also stopped working right, but that's just an annoying coincidence.
