I can't believe how nice the weather has been. Usually, September is nice, and October turns ugly at some point. It's still beautiful. This weekend, it was sunny with temps in the sixties. The leaves are still colorful
Yesterday, we went out for brunch with Heather & Greg. I only had that one meal, but by the time I got to gaming, I was really hungry again, so I ate a lot of snacks. Popcorn and carrots mostly, with only a couple of pieces of pizza.
Cindy and I went for a couple of two-mile walks.
Last weekend, I picked up a chainsaw and cleaned up my mess of wood a little bit. This weekend, I split some of it. The dry maple split pretty well. The new, wet ash wood split. The dry birch did not. I guess I won't burn much of that this winter.
We had Doug over for a nice dinner on Saturday. He and I get together about once a month. We'll do whisky and talk or play games or something. This time he came early, for dinner. Cindy made a nice beef roast.
