friend with cancer

My friend who has cancer, they first told him he had six to 12 months left, two years if he's lucky. On further diagnosis, the cancer is an aggressive one, so he's got half that. One year if he's lucky. But they tell me that aggressive cancer is more susceptible to chemo, so he's got that going for him. He's in some kind of clinical study. He had been frustrated that that took so long to get going, but it's going now. Finished his third week of chemo. We were hoping to see him at whisky club, but he had to give up alcohol because it elevated his liver levels (or something), which delayed chemo treatment.

Once he got set up on Facebook, I was surprised to find out how many people know him. I just know him from work, and the only other people I know who know him are from work too. Everybody loves Jeff!
