facebook outrage

Last weekend I got into a facebook argument with a cousin. She was outraged that she had to press 1 for English. Or at least that's what the meme said. I found it fitting that the message was on a picture of Daffy Duck. I explained that nobody makes you press 1 for English, but she was just generally mad that not everyone speaks English. Or speaks it well enough to be comfortable talking about medical or banking issues.

Fine, whatever, etc.

So today, she posts that she's outraged to have to show a birth certificate to renew her driver's license. Yet, she is the kind of person who would outraged that illegal immigrants are allowed driver's licenses. So which is it? Outraged only until it inconveniences you? Cyn suggested that she's probably thinks it should be obvious that she's not illegal, since she's white.
