holiday weekend
Jul. 9th, 2013 12:46 pmWe had a really great four-day weekend. We did a lot of hanging around and doing whatever.
I mowed the lawn, sharpened the mower blades, mowed the lawn again. Messed with the gardens a lot. We went to Summerfest on saturday. It reminded me of why I don't like Summerfest all that much, but it was a fine way to spend the afternoon. Had gaming on sunday. Cooked some ribs one day.
The weather was perfect - sunny and around 80°. That's just about the first time it's gotten that warm around here.
Yesterday it cooled off a bit. It was down to 70° by the time I got outside in the evening. I cleared the weeds out of the mulch by the hedge, and planted a new plant.
I'm trying to decide whether to go to my CoPA meeting tonight, or hang around the house and get more stuff done.
