busy friday
Apr. 5th, 2013 08:57 pmI started the day by buying tickets to see the Rolling Stones in Chicago. It was nervewracking. They sell out almost immediately. There were stories of people who logged on to Ticketmaster immediately, and didn't get tickets. Tickets in the "cheap seats" sold out before I could get any. What was that, a minute and a half into it? But this was the presale, so I don't think it was the entire arena.
So then I putzed around the house for a bit, including packing for our trip. Oh, I spent a little bit getting some photos ready.
Then I drove to Milwaukee to drop off said photo files for printing. It's a rush order, so I had to drop them off in person. Then I came back and stopped by my framer, only to find out they're gone until "next week." This means if they can't get my images framed by saturday, I might have to do it myself. Which means I need different sizes of work. Which means I have to get another print done in a hurry. So by the time I got this figured out and ate lunch, it was time to go to work.
I got here at 3:30. It's physical inventory weekend, so I'm working second shift today.
Because we're flying to Florida for a quick weekend visit with some friends. We'll be back on monday. Hopefully I can pick up my prints on the way back from the airport. Then there's the St.Andrew's whisky tasting that evening. I hope my plane's on time!
