don't step in my big ten-inch
Feb. 28th, 2013 12:14 pmWe got about ten inches of snow yesterday and the night before. I think they predicted five to eight, and I expected less, since we were supposed to be on the norhtern edge, and they always overpredict. But the weather just stayed over us.
Cindy shoveled most of one half of the driveway, then I did the other side before work. I'm starting to understand how people die of heart attacks while shoveling. You just go out and work, and power on down the line, and you don't realize until you stop, that your heart is pounding and you're just about to pass out.
In the evening, I finished the end of the driveway, finished the walk that Cyn had started, and cleaned up the whole thing again. Tonight, I get to tackle the turnaround part of the driveway.
The snow was pretty, though. I wish I had some time to enjoy it.
EDITED: I did just over half the turnaround. It was only down to 25 degrees, but there was a little wind, and my ears were hurting. I don't really know why. Anyway, I quit early.
