Dylan in China

Bob Dylan is playing in China. He had to submit his set list for vetting by the censors, so he's not playing "Blowin' In the Wind", "The Times They Are A-Changin'", or any number of other very political songs. If you've ever seen his show, you have to wonder why they'd bother.

None of Dylan's albums have ever been officially released in China. At the Beijing concert Wednesday, many Chinese attendees admitted they knew little of Dylan's music or legacy. "His music is OK. But I don't speak English, so I can't understand what he's singing," Gao Mingwen said outside the stadium.

Don't worry about it. Neither can we.
