Five thousand posts. That's a lot of attempts at humor, and a lot of photo posts. And a few thoughtful ones. And also a lot of private ones. That's just over nine years of posts.

I just checked the stats of many of my friends who have been around since the beginning, and they all seem to have either the same amount as me, half as many, or twice as many.

I wonder how many posts I've read.

It's pretty amazing that our society has reached the point where the effort necessary to extract oil from the ground, ship it to a refinery, turn it into plastic, mold and package it, import it from overseas, transport it by truck to the store, buy it, bring it home, use it once and throw it away is considered less effort than just washing a spoon when you're done with it.
