odd little things
Aug. 23rd, 2009 11:29 pmSome people we know recently bought a house, and invited us to their housewarming party. Their house is across the street from a house Cyn and I looked at when we were looking at houses. At the housewarming party, we met the people who ended up buying the house that we passed on.
The guy who they bought the house from was apparently a carpenter. It appeared he was using the house as some kind of showpiece, since there was woodwork everywhere. Or maybe for practice. It was pretty obnoxious. So we had a good laugh about that with the people who now own it. They said they were able to reverse much of the "damage". It sounded like they liked it even less than we did. But then they live in it.
Earlier this summer, at another party, we met the realtor who sold that house.
