What have I been up to, you're wondering? You weren't, but now that I mention it... not at all? I'm telling you anyway...
Last week was kinda busy. Saw Star Trek on wednesday. Enjoyed it much. I still haven't gone back to read all your posts about it. Thursday, we took Mike out to dinner, as a going-away thing, before he moves to New York.
Friday was a quiet night, but I left to go take some photos. Got only a couple. Lost my lens cap in the grass, but found it after nearly ten minutes searching. Saw some fox kits playing. That was fun. Didn't see Mike.
Saturday, we went out taking photos of local historic landmarks. After supper, we took a walk at Lion's Den. Later, we went out to Paddy's bar, for Mike's big going-away party. Was fun.
Sunday morning, we went over to Covered Bridge Park (the last remaining covered bridge in Wisconsin). I was a little surprised I'd never taken Cyn there. In the afternoon, I went down to Mike's to pick up a carload of stuff to hold onto for him. May send some of it to him in NY, when he gets a place. Then went downtown to take a few more pics, since the sun was right. Turned out to be about an hour past right.
Monday, back to work, but took an early lunch to deliver Cyn to the hospital to get scoped. Took a long lunch to run errands, including picking something up from Mike. Ended up bringing another small load of stuff back, and taking him to the bank. This ate up an hour, so my long lunch turned into a really long lunch. Also went to Koss to get a replacement on my headphones, only to find out that I have to wait a day (took me weeks to get down there in the first place). Grr. Picked up Cyn from the hospital, and then sat home all night. I really should have gotten outside to work in the yard (either that, or gone back to work for a couplof hours), but it was cold. It was almost up to 80° today, but the wind switched, around 1:30, and the temp dropped twelve degrees in ten minutes. By 5:00, it was down to 50. The same thing happened around 8:30 on saturday, when we were out at Lion's Den. The wind kicked up, and the temp dropped 12 degrees in 10 minutes. Not a cloud in the sky. It stayed cool until this morning. The warmth only lasted half a day, though.
So there you have it. Pictures, later.
