WWII veteran

The part I find interesting was that he and his comrades were in Buchenwald, but Luftwaffe airmen saw them there, and demanded they be moved to a POW camp. This was an era when soldiers had respect for each other as soldiers. This, of course, is in contrast with the perception of Jews as less than human.
