I got to the polling place at about 9:45, and then to work by 9:55. There was nobody ahead of me in line. We're in a largely conservative area.

Putting aside my feelings on McCain's policies, I think he makes a better senator than he would have a president. I never really got the feeling he was presidential material. And it seemed, late in the election, that he was getting in over his head. Like his campaign was going where he didn't want it to go. And that his presidency would do the same.
