Yes, it was correctly identified as paint, and more specifically a painting. A couple of you figured out that it is the famous Seurat which is what I was looking for. Nobody has yet figured out which part.

There are some great buildings in Chicago. These are all pictures that I took on the cruise.


The pretty white tower is the Mather Building. The building in front of it on the right is the London Guarantee Building. On the left is the very tall and narrow 333 North Michigan.

A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte

Ten points to seamusd for being correct first. And an additional two for posting the picture so everyone could take a stab at where exactly it was. Five points to likethebeer for second place. Five points also to zaecus, who correctly guessed that my closeup was of the blue-eyed gentleman in the top hat, seated on the grass in the lower left.



Yes, this was eye level, as this is a very large painting. And the girl with the flowers was a good guess.
