I've been watching Robert Fripp's online journal, to see what he had to say about the show from the 10th. Here it is:
A fave SoundSculpture for walk-in.

An almost full house. Very supportive. A good sounding room powered by Mr. Beefy.
Almost disappointing, since he usually has quite a bit to say. But no news is good news, as he usually complains about disruptive audients. To explain, SoundSculpture is his solo, processed guitar. Mr. Beefy is Madison's own Biff Blumfumgagne, the sound man for this tour. (He also played with Willy Porter when we saw him at Summerfest.)

He also said, The Majestic is a former burlesque theatre. In one of its incarnations, it was a movie house & John Sinks was the projectionist here. It is in new ownership & has only been re-opened for 2-3 months. And you can see some (not very good) pictures here.

I'm doing a bit better. Still had kind of an aimless day at work. I think I just need to get this one main project done, and I'll be mostly over it. I hope.

I burned leaves. This morning when I got up, it was somewhat sunny. It gradually clouded over and started drizzling when I left work. Joy. But I burned anyway. The leaves were already damp, so I figured this couldn't hurt. I was right, but it wasn't easy. I had to build a fire first, and feed the leaves into it. I used quite a bit of wood. It took me nearly twice as long as usual, and I had fewer leaves. I also tried gasoline, and for the record, it didn't help. The wind did help, though. Since the leaves were damp, they were heavy enough not to be blown around too much, and everything was so wet from the rain that nothing else would light from the sparks. The drizzle came and went, and ended up a light rain. I finally gave up when I could feel the water seeping through my coat. By then, I had the remaining pile of leaves contained in the garden area, and it didn't seem that my efforts were promoting any burning, so I left it and came inside. Three hours later, there are still glowing coals.
