so much for that plan

We came home from work early, so we could jump in the car and get down to Summerfest to see a few bands, some of which started at 6:00. Cyn said there was an accident on the freeway. Travel times were 40 minutes instead of ten. So we decided we'd wait half an hour and then it would be back down to the usual time. Almost half an hour later, and the travel time is up to an hour, according to the DOT website. So we're going to miss the first couple of bands. Still can see Willy Porter and/or BB King.
