stress... stress...

This time, my chest is all pulled tight.

Mostly work. Partly this trip to Iowa, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't bother me much if I wasn't already stressed out about work. My dad has been in the hospital due to blood clots, but I'm not sure if that's bothering me. It must be, even though I'm not really worried about him.

And work. It's all deadline stress. And only some of it is my own deadlines - it's the project overall. It's coming down to cruch time. We've got about four weeks. I've been on vacation for much of the last two weeks. The team leader was on vacation this week. The girl doing the literature is going to be gone for a week and a half (and it's all got to be done ahead of time), and the other guy is only on the project three days a week. I'm still waiting on protoypes, so we can see if they even work. And photograph them for the literature. And build the conveyor for the upcoming trade show (and I don't even know the deadline for getting that shipped). And then there are loose ends that I needed to tie up a couple of weeks ago. I'm praying they don't cause any serious problems.
