Left our motel near Knoxville at about 8:00. Had a walk around Cumberland Falls, and a two hour stop for dinner, just south of Chicago. Got home at 9:30.

Long day.

Just after we got on the highway on friday, I noticed that the odometer read 15555 (four of a kind, ace high!). Almost exactly one thousand miles later (give or take four miles), we were at the parking lot at Clingman's Dome, the highest point in Tennessee.

We did just over 1800 miles, altogether.
