Poll: Nation split on Bush as uniter or divider

I'm sure somebody had a good laugh about that one.

As for the poll itself, I don't see how the half of the nation who supports president Bush can feel that they're united with the half that doesn't. What's up with that? Or maybe it's only half of them that feels that way, and half of Bush's detractors feel that he's not a divider.

I had a Loverboy song stuck in my head for a good five hours, today. While that was bad, it wasn't so much that it was Loverboy, but that it was *anything* for that long.

But what about Loverboy? Why do they seem to be so universally despised? I mean, they're not that good, but they don't seem to be any worse than a couple dozen other bands of that era, that I can name off the top of my head. Why them? did I miss something? Did they have really bad videos? Did their guitarist turn out to be a pedophile?

How does one describe their music? I'd say, unimaginitive but somewhat catchy tunes. And they kind of rock. How many bands fit *that* description?

Rice told Biden that although there were some "bad decisions," the end result is the measuring stick to use against the administration's decisions.

"I know enough about history to stand back and recognize that you judge decisions not in the moment, but how it all adds up," she said. "It's how Iraq turns out that ultimately matters."
The end justifies the means, huh?
