The last couple of nights, I've been trying to pack up the house. We've got a bunch of boxes, and I'm trying to get everything I can packed up, and taken upstairs, so I can find more stuff to pack. I've only been at it for two nights and the place looks like a disaster area. I'd like to work on it for much of the weekend, but we're going to be finishing up at Cyn's old place. I expect four trips with her car loaded. I hope that doesn't mean six. We were hoping that Cyn's sister would help us pack, because she's a professional, but she's not in any condition to be leaving the house. Maybe we can at least work out getting some boxes from her.

Moving is going to be stressful. I never understood why people thought moving was so stressful. I mean, it's a lot of hard work, and your life is disrupted for a few days - deal with it. But now I know it's because everyone comes to your house (if you're lucky) and looks at all your crap and tells you you should be getting rid of it and "why are we moving this stuff," and "the rumage sale is supposed to be *before* you move," etc. I cringe at this thought. Anybody who's ever been in my house knows I have things that no sane person would keep. Some of these things are odd antiques. Soem of them are simply unique and I have them for no other reason but that I could never get another. Some of them are things that other people jsut don't keep. Like magzines. I know for a fact that most people feel that magazines are disposable reading material. I feel that they are books. I still throw most of them away. I have boxes full. And of course, I keep things until they are beyond their uses. Like, completely worn out. So I'll get a lot of, "wow, you really need a new..."

So, um... anyhone going to be around on the eighteenth? Free lunch!
