blind loser

I lost my keys on sunday. I know I had them when I came in the house after camping. I looked for them later in the day, when Cyn and I were going out, but I couldn't find them. I didn't realize they were really lost until the next day. I also am missing my extra house key, so I had to leave the back door unlocked all week.

Last night it was cold, so I put on my winter coat. I got in the car and went to Sears. After that I went to Shopko. I was walking out when I realized I was using my full key set, rather than my extra car key.

Why did I not notice this sooner? And better still, how did they get into the pocket of my winter coat? I'm pretty sure I didn't wear it on sunday. Not only that, but I thought I checked that coat.
