the floor

My living space is in transition. For me, "transition" generally means I'm cleaning. For the past several months, it has been my bathroom. This time it's my living room.

Particularly, my desk. Last weekend, I was able to clear off my desk. Most of it ended up on the floor. Tonight, I was able to clear about half of the floor.

*sigh*

This story was from mid-December. I wonder how much of this has gone on since, and we Americans are unaware. Or maybe it's just me. Who has heard of this sort of thing?
