I love the part that says, "The top floors will be filled with life-affirming indoor gardens." Okay, nobody will want to work in the top floors - too dangerous. So what do we put up there?" "Gardens! Okay, but how will we sell that idea?" "We'll call them 'life-affirming!"

"Libeskind says that having calculated the arc of the sun, a wedge of natural light would funnel visitors to the memorial site, and that every September 11 between 8:46 a.m., when the first tower was struck by a plane, and 10:28 a.m., when the second tower collapsed, no shadows will be cast by his buildings." I like that idea. (Poorly written paragraph, though.)

"Online predators target 1 out of 4 children."

I think we should improve those odds. Lets get more children online and lower the ratio.

Okay, that's probably not funny to anyone who actually has kids.

Nike is suing for the right to misrepresent itself to the public. It feels that it, as a corporation, should have the same constitutional right to lie as a human.

I read the decision on the California case, and the dissenting opinion is just scary. It sounds like the judges were bought.

It is assumed that regular people lie, exaggerate and just plain talk about things that they know little about. This is taken into account in everyday dealings. But even regular people can be held accountable for the results of inaccurate or misleading information.
