nut allergy

My sister took Nikki to the allergist, where he checked her for different specific allergies. It turns out that peanuts and cashews are the only nuts she is allergic to. She's still not going to take chances iwth it, though, because further allergies could start.

I don't feel like it

There are probably quite a few things I should be doing today. But I don't feel like it. Cyn just asked me if I wanted to play a game, but I don't feel like it. I as going to work in her attic. I should have mowed and/or raked my lawn. I should work on her garage. I guess I'll just sit around all afternoon until supper time. Maybe I can find a magazine to read.

I hate when dinner doesn't turn out. I burned the beef stew. I left the flame too high, and left the room for a while. It smells like someone's been smoking a cigar in here. The corn muffins didn't burn, but they were a bit overdone. At least the wine turned out okay.
