I wasn't going to talk about that accident any more, but the news today is...
Sgt. John Jones of the Wisconsin State Patrol said 45 vehicles - seven more than the 38 authorities initially counted - were involved in the wreck in the southbound lanes near Cedar Grove at 7:19 a.m. Friday.

The number rose because pieces of metal once thought to be debris turned out to be cars themselves - including one smashed to less than a foot high.

"Cars were so damaged you could not tell they were cars," Jones said at a news conference Saturday afternoon. "At one point, we found some twisted metal and we weren't sure if it was debris or what. It turned out to be a Pontiac Sunfire."
I hope the occupants exited their vehicles before they were crushed.

In an interview broadcast last week on the CBS program "60 Minutes,'' Falwell said: "I think (Prophet) Muhammad was a terrorist''.

The conservative Baptist minister said he has concluded from reading Muslim and non-Muslim writers that Islam's prophet "was a violent man, a man of war.''

This has enraged many Muslims. Some even are calling for his death.

What?!

One thing that has bothered me about this upcoming regime change, is that there apaprently has been no plan offered for what happens when Hussein is no longer in charge (read: dead). On the one hand, this is irresponsible. On the other, it would be wrong to set somebody else up. I guess that's why they're glossing this one over - it's wrong either way.

But now I hear that the administration is supporting a dissident alliance to succeed Hussein. Hmm, why haven't I heard anything about this before? This alliance has announced it will cancel all oil agreements with nations that don't support the war. If this plan goes through, the United States of America will control all of Iraq's oil.

And why did Halliburton (CEO: Cheney) give so much money to Iraq to rebuild its oil production capability after the gulf war?
