I'm not feeling well. My throat feels like hell, and I'm lacking energy. I don't need this. I've spent the last two weeks getting depressed about getting behind in my housework and other projects around here. I was looking forward to having a couple of days to get things done, and now I can't do them. My big project is to clean the basement. There's no chance I'll be down there this weekend. I haven't done laundry or dishes in exactly two weeks. I think I can take care of some of that. I need to clean the bathroom and vacuum. I hope Cindy can deal with a messy place, because if she can't, that means she's got to clean it herself.
So it's not only me I'm inconveniencing, it's Cyn. We were going to spend a couple of days at her place so she could get things done too. Now I don't know If I'll be well enough to go down there. If not, that means we spend more time apart.
And then there's Summerfest. I think we were going to be going down there Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Now I'm just hoping to be well enough by Sunday. I'll be really upset if I have to miss the Femmes. I wanted to see Soul Asylum tonight, but that won't happen. Joe Bonamossa would have been really cool tomorrow. American Standard and Midnight Oil on saturday. It only costs eight bucks a day, but I already have the tickets, so I hope they don't go to waste. I've already given away two of them, so if I don't go again, I've paid $48 to see Savoy Brown and a little of Indgo Girls.
Have a great holiday weekend, for those of you who have a holiday. The rest of you just make do the best you can. ;-)
