fucking computers

How come I can attach a jpeg file to an outgoing e-mail, and when it gets to the other end it the picture is displayed on the e-mail? Now I can't make it back into a file to upload to my website. This does me no good.

I currently have two userpics of other people. It's not that the icons are the same as someone else uses, it's that they are those other people.
