I'm going away for the weekend. Our scout troop is going to a lighthouse station. One of our leaders is a commander in the Coast Guard. It should be decent. There is a bunkhouse and kitchen. That's better than we usually have. Which is a tent and a picnic table.
I'm coming home on Sunday. I'll just have time to get cleaned up, and then Cyn and I are going to My friends' daughter's first birthday party. Phil works at a hotel, so he's getting the penthouse suite for a few hours.
Then we're meeting Doug for dinner.
In other news, it looks like my grandma is getting out of the nursing home. I guess the people there think she's too healthy to be there. She's supposed to see the neurologist on Tuesday, but I'm not sure if they'll wait to see what he says, or if they'll just kick her out. It is sad to see her there at the nursing home, but I'm a little worried about her being alone. We'll see, I guess.
And I hope Serendipity has a safe trip home, and has time to relax and enjoy being home, for a bit before she has to go back to work.
