Okay, here's the deal.
I spend way too much time on the internet, at work. I don't do it on the
clock, but it can turn an eight hour day into a ten hour day. I hang out
at Anacam, which is fun, and then I have a few people's journal's I must
read and respond to. That's about all the time I have to devote to it,
and frankly I'd rather do even less of it at work.

I've been having enough trouble concentrating on work as it is. I'd
rather put some of my live journal addiction out my mind.

As it is, my posts and replies are rather hurried. I'd rather not be
rushed, and be able to give my writing some thought. There are also a few
more journals than just my current few friends that I would like to check
out.

My other problem is my computer at home. First I got a laptop and cheap
(free) e-mail. Then recently my friend gave me a bigger computer (still a
486). It can get me internet access, but it needs a modem. My friend said
he'd put one in, but he hasn't come through yet. I hate to spend the
money on a new computer when I've got a perfectly adequate one on my
desk.

So here I sit.

My best option, for now, is to write at home and e-mail it to work, and post it there.

Yay.

And it's difficult to post on weekends, anyway.
