tooth , part 1

The dentist shot me so full of novocaine (or whatever it is they use nowdays) that my ear and my eyelid are tingling. And the right side of my jaw - I was shot on the left. I'm getting a crown (I never knew I was royalty), so he had to grind away the entire surface of the tooth. Now I've got a temporary crown and have to go back in two weeks.

My mouth was surprisingly functional afterwards.

When I was a teenager, my dentist found out that novocaine didn't work on me. But shortly thereafter, nobody was using the stuff. All sorts of variants. Synthetic stuff? I don't know.

It dissipated throughout your body? Weird.
