tooth , part 1

The dentist shot me so full of novocaine (or whatever it is they use nowdays) that my ear and my eyelid are tingling. And the right side of my jaw - I was shot on the left. I'm getting a crown (I never knew I was royalty), so he had to grind away the entire surface of the tooth. Now I've got a temporary crown and have to go back in two weeks.

oof, i know the feeling. don't have soup or other leaky things,
you'll just get it all over yourself! ;)

the last time i had to have novacaine, after 5 or 6 shots of it,
and waiting between shots, it never took effect and we called it a day.
first time that's happened to me! i felt a little woozy, though-
i could *feel* the stuff go through my chest and straight to my knees!
the dentist stated that it probably wasn't the novocaine. whatever. *snort*

Believe me. You're glad he shot you up that full with novocaine. Are you getting a porcelein crown, or all metal?

Be sure to describe the sensations to the dentist next time. You can only have so much novacaine in one year before it starts causing problems.

I feel novacaine in my lungs now - had it so many times during middle- and high-school, that i can feel it when I exhale.
