Wal-Mart hair

I haven't seen hair that high in... I don't know how long.

Does anyone know why stores require you to fork over ID, when returning something without a reciept? It doesn't make sense. If they think you're ripping them off by returning something that was bought elsewhere, why isn't the store's price tag enough? If they want to keep tabs on you to make sure you'renot returning too many things, why don't they ask for ID when you have a reciept? Of course, I probably wouldn't be half as pissed off about it, if I had remembered my ID. Wasted half an hour driving back and forth.

No, that makes sense to me. What doesn't make sense is that they don't seem to ask for ID if I have a reciept. Why one way and not the other?

And yes, I'm aware that all stores do this.

I honestly don't know, except that, of course, you have a receipt that shows the proof of purchase and maybe that is enough to put into the computer?
I sure as heck am glad I don't work retail!!! It's enough trouble dealing with the people just reaching puberty! ;-)
