I spent about two and a half hours up there, but it felt like one. And it felt like I got about one hour's work of work done. I guess I'm going to have to take half a day off work tomorrow. I've got a certain amount of things I have to get done before the electricians come on friday. And then there's only one more week left before the drywaller starts. I didn't think I'd be this rushed on this part. And work on Cyn's place is cutting into work here.

This work tonight is leaving me frustrated because I don't know what to do. I can't get this lathing removed without trashing the wall on the other side. I wanted to demolish that room too, but I didn't have time for it. Now I'm wishing I did. Things would be so much easier right now. Same deal with the bathroom. I just redid a bathroom and was fairly sure I didn't have time for it this time. But I do have to do the tile. Now I'm wondering how I can do only half the room.

I'm feeling a bit fucked right now.

I just work. If there's work to do, I do it. The only thing that causes me trouble is when I don't know what to do or how to proceed. Generally.

Onnly if I can get it into space behind what I'm cutting. I have a whole ceiling joist that I have to cut up against. Everything else is fine.

i'm sure everyone doing remodeling feels fucked now and then.......i've felt it, many times.......

can you plan the hard line (between old and new) in the bathroom so that it's on a corner?.......or so it looks like it should be there?
