I wasn't going to talk about that accident any more, but the news today is...

Sgt. John Jones of the Wisconsin State Patrol said 45 vehicles - seven more than the 38 authorities initially counted - were involved in the wreck in the southbound lanes near Cedar Grove at 7:19 a.m. Friday.

The number rose because pieces of metal once thought to be debris turned out to be cars themselves - including one smashed to less than a foot high.

"Cars were so damaged you could not tell they were cars," Jones said at a news conference Saturday afternoon. "At one point, we found some twisted metal and we weren't sure if it was debris or what. It turned out to be a Pontiac Sunfire."

I hope the occupants exited their vehicles before they were crushed.

Morning Kevin. What a tragic accident. I watched a little on the news with pics and it was just unbelievable the magnitude of the damage done to those poor people...

I read the paper yesterday, and a picture of the crash was on the fornt page. How heartbreakingly awful:(
