dammit

It took me a while to work out getting my car in to have the muffler replaced. I only own one car, and I don't know anybody who can give me a ride into work. So finally my mom said she was taking wednesday off, so I could have her car for the day. I dropped mine off, tuesday eve. and told them I needed it by 2:00. It was very hectic in the afternoon, trying to get to my mom's, so we could go out and pick up my car, so I didn't make it out there until 4:00. I walk in, and the guy says, "did you drop it off?" So they didn't get it done. He said, "we're just finishing up the morning's projects."

So now when the hell am I gonna have it fixed? The damn thing sounds like there are no pipes. I'm sick of it!

snow

This mornign was bad. I lay in bed listening tothe traffic report. Drive times everywhere in the city were four times normal. Everything is usually ten to fifteen minutes. Today it was 45 to 60. And we didn't even have that much snow. I learned, when I went to work, that it was indeed very slippery.

I'm taking tomorrow off. I'm going to sleep in. I need the rest. And I need to get a bunch of crap done. I hope to have a chance to go skiing.
