pain

I was in so much pain last night, I hardly slept. I didn't get to sleep until after 2:30, and I woke up before 7:30. It was my shoulder and the part of my back and neck that surrounds my shoulder that hurt so much. I think moving around loosened things up, so it improved over the day. Even shoveling a couple of inches of snow. Then I went to Drammit (whisky club) in the evening, so I feel fine now.

Oh no. I don't like that you're in pain so often. I AM glad you did better tonight. Or, feel better. Or drunker. I dunno. ;)

Now I'm back to my usual levels of stiffness. And one little kink in my shoulder.

I am assuming you are going to see a doctor & make a plan as to how to get rid of the pain?

Um... I guess I'm working on a plan? Or maybe just thinking about it. :-(

So in the procrastination stage or fear stage?

No, I don't feel fear. With me, it's either procrastination or skepticism. So, mostly procrastination.

I can understand both. Hopefully you can make a decision so that you won't be in such pain any more.

Your body is sending you very loud messages about the critical level of stress you're experiencing.

Yes stress. Tension in the neck and shoulders is a classic sign. When something similar happens to me I find that ibuprofen helps at night.

I was taking painkillers for a couple of weeks there. Not sure if they helped.

I'm glad you're on the mend, but man, that must have been awful!

I'm definitely better than I was that day.

We got 6+ inches of wet snow. Could have been near a foot as powder. The first three shovelfuls torqued my back. I went downstairs to my TruBack back stretcher and that helped. Now I'm 90% back to normal.
