more snow

But this time it was cold, so it was all light and fluffy. Probably three inches. Very slippery driving, though. Joe and Alisha have a Jeep, so they drove us to the play tonight. (Glengarry Glen Ross. It was pretty good.) When we got out, it was still snowing lightly. When I went out to shovel, about two hours later, there wasn't a cloud in the sky. The moon helped light some of the driveway. Of course, without a moon, it got even colder. It was ten and windy. And the light fluffy snow was often blown back into my face. Or on the driveway. It was a good workout, though.

Seems as if so many people living in the midwest own snowblowers, or even have plowing services (When I lived there, growing up,no one had those things, of course!) :)

Just a week ago it was getting down to 28 at night, and I could hear the heater running every hour or so.

Today.. at noon it broke 70. I opened the windows and kitchen slider, and let fresh air in. In a couple of weeks I expect the fruit and nut trees to start waking up. I can't wait for that!

:) then again, in two weeks we could have a cold storm set in and drop an inch of snow, which would be amusing for the hour or two it would stick!
I still wish we had enough snow over a few weeks to build decent snow monsters. Your lion was really cool!
