Lynchburg Lemonade

Shot of whisky and a half shot of triple-sec in an old fashioned glass, with ice and lemonade.

Good stuff.

I couldn't do that, not even to a 10 year old speyside....

*smile*.. ya know, I haven't had blended, nor bourbon, in a little while.

I do like triple-sec... this does sound like a nice summer drink. Might have to try that one of these weekends before the summer is out... i've got some Maker's Mark in the cabinet.

Maker's Mark - there you go. And I must say I recommend Cointreau over triple-sec, but it costs about twice as much, so use what you want.

Also, just whiskey and lemonade is good too. And I believe Southern Comfort is Whiskey with peach liqueur, so SC and lemonade would certainly be good. When I go out, I often have SoCoso - Southern Comfort and sour soda.

Ya know, I go out probably once every other week, and we might go to a place that sells beer. Except on sales trips, when we go hit the bar because the sales guys took the adage "eat your raise" a little too seriously. :)

This last time I had margies, but I should have had mojitos (Florida).

lime vodka, orange juice, and sprite or 7up on ice is pretty good as well.

Hard lemonade is also good.. orange twisted gin, triple sec and lemonade.
