sunday

It's nice to have a day where you don't have to wear shoes. (It's also nice to have a day where you don't have to wear pants, but those days are rare.) I didn't have any obligations today. Mike came to get some furniture. I worked in the gardens a bit. I cleaned the bathroom. I spent the rest of the day online. I think I'll watch a movie tonight.

Drew called and said they decided, on the spur of the moment, to game. This sounded like a nice thing to do on a relaxed saturday, but I wanted to really relax. Since we're gaming tomorrow, I decided not to join them today.

Cyn came in a while ago, saying she was going to the grocery store to pick up a birthday card for my mom. I thought, why don't we get it tomorrow, before we go pick her up? since we're taking her out to dinner. Then I remembered that we're gaming tomorrow. So I had to call my mom and postpone her birthday dinner to monday. :-(

If I had accepted the invitation to play today, I could've skipped tomorrow's session. And I'm going to miss next week's game, since I'll be in Tennessee. Of all the group, I think I'm the one who most wants to play right now, but it seems I'm the one who misses the most games. The other guys are wanting to move on to our next campaign, but I'm really liking my current character, so I'm itching to play. *sigh*

You should wear pants most of the time. By pants, does that include shorts (I don't mean the "underwear" kind of shorts)? If you don't wear pants you might be embarrassed. You never know who will stop by to visit. Do you plan to not wear pants at work? I don't advise that. RTM always wears pants unless he's in bed, then he wears pj's.

Now it would be okay to go without shoes, at home anyway. I frequently go barefoot. You should wear shoes in a restaurant. Sandals, at least. If your boss says it's okay, I guess you could go without shoes at work.

Ignore me.

According to the guidelines for No Pants Day, leg coverings that are similar in purpose to pants, such as shorts, skirts, kilts and the like are discouraged.

Yeah, a day without shoes is a day where I don't leave the house. :-)

Or yard, actually.

I will refrain from asking about the "not having to wear pants" days...lol...but I am with you on the no shoes. I love to go barefoot whenever I can :o)

I remember, many years ago, that I was at a friends house, and his little sister insisted on going outside naked, because she wanted to go barefoot. It's funny what funny ideas get stuck in little kids' heads.

I go without pants all the time. You need to learn to wear nightgowns. Yep, nightgown and bare feet.. IN THE YARD even. *grin*

I've seen the neighbor out in a bathrobe.

I suppose that would work too... *grin*

My parents tried to discourage the going without pants thing in me. I understand I traveled naked from house to housein Hazlet, NJ, when I was supposed to be napping, helping myself to the neighbor-kids' Easter basket treats. Thank God there were no video cameras in 1960.

I think your yard is kinda...ummm...OPEN to be walking about with no pants. Perhaps a bathrobe would be acceptable? Or a kilt. Surely Danes have a kilt something-or-other for yard wear?

Sorry your gaming-timing got all tangled up. Maybe when you play next, your timing will be all ready for the situations at hand since your brain has been thinking on them while you're away.

And nobody took you home? X-D

I can stay in the house, with no pants.

My only mistake was to double-book myself for today. Beyond that, it's just disappointment in not being able to *all* the fun stuff I want to do.

You could not wear pants more often than you think, but the public might take exception. Cyn might like it, though.
